- Water treatment agent raw materialsPSI is the precursor of polyaspartic acid (PASP), which is a non-toxic and environmentally friendly water treatment agent used as: corrosion inhibitor, scale inhibitor, dispersant; commonly used in boiler water, cooling water and reverse osmosis systems.
- Agricultural applicationsPSI can be further converted into polyaspartic acid and used as a soil conditioner, slow-release fertilizer carrier to improve nutrient release.
- Biodegradable material raw materialsIts derivatives such as PASP can be used for biomaterial development, such as medical slow-release materials and biocompatible carriers.
- Chemical intermediatesPSI itself can also be used for further chemical modification to synthesize other functional polymers or resins.
