Ascorbyl Palmitate is an efficient, safe, and non-toxic liposoluble nutritional antioxidant that is insoluble in water and vegetable oil. It appears as a white powder with a slight citrus odor.

So it is commonly used as an antioxidant and stabilizer in pharmaceutical formulations. It protects drugs from oxidation, prolongs their shelf life, and enhances their stability and bioavailability.

Functions:

(1) Color protection for oils and fats.(2) Nutritional fortification.(3) Used as a food antioxidant.
