Product Description

Hexaazatriphenylenehexacarbonitrile (HAT-CN) is an organic small molecule with high electron affinity and hole-transporting properties. It was first synthesized by Japanese chemist Nagao Kobayashi in 2001.

HAT-CN is composed of six benzene rings connected by nitrogen atoms and six cyano groups. This structure gives HAT-CN excellent electron transport properties, making it widely used in the manufacture of organic electronic and optoelectronic devices. For example, HAT-CN can be used as an organic semiconductor material to fabricate organic field-effect transistors, organic light-emitting diodes, and organic solar cells.

The main application of HAT-CN is as an organic semiconductor material, and it has several advantages:

- High electron mobility: HAT-CN has high electron mobility, making it an excellent performer in organic field-effect transistors and organic light-emitting diodes.

- Good hole-transporting properties: HAT-CN also has good hole-transporting properties, making it suitable for high-efficiency organic solar cells.

- Solubility: HAT-CN is soluble in common organic solvents, making its preparation and processing very convenient.

Therefore, HAT-CN is a very promising organic semiconductor material that can be used to manufacture various high-performance organic electronic devices.
